Irene Prue's mission in life is to inspire a desire to inquire about God’s Truth. She is the administrator/principal of Victory World Christian School. She was born in Plymouth, Massachusetts, but was raised a military kid living in Japan, Guam, Maryland, Vermont, North Carolina and Maine. She received degrees in the following areas: Ph.D. from the University of Georgia in Counseling & Student Affairs Administration; M.A. from Appalachian State University (Boone, NC) in Leadership and Higher Education, minor in Developmental Education; B.S. from Appalachian State University in Business Education, Secondary Education; A.S. from Champlain College (Burlington, VT) Executive Secretarial program. For 15 years Irene served in a number of capacities at various universities and colleges. Some of the roles included:: Area Director, Coordinator of Leadership Activities & Orientation, Director of a Freshman Year Experience program, Assistant Director of Admissions, Director of Institutional Research and Strategic Planning and as a Dean of Students. She worked at a number of institutions: Appalachian State University (NC), Clarion University (PA), Georgia Southern University (GA), Ogeechee Technical College, the University of Georgia and Georgia Perimeter College. She has mentored young professionall women over the last several years and serves on the board of Turn Around Coaching, Inc., a non-profit organization committed to mentoring and coaching at-risk adolescents. She was recognized as the Outstanding Student Affairs Professional at Georgia Southern University (1993) and was recognized by the Georgia College Student Personnel Association as the Outstanding Doctoral Graduate Student (1997).

She was born and raised in Puerto Rico along with her younger brother and sister. Her father was originally from Oregon; he was raised in Texas then ended up in Puerto Rico as a result of a military assignment. He later met Rosalie’s mother. Rosalie is married to Sigfrido and is a mother of two sons Robert and Rey and one daughter Rosalie Michelle. She also has 5 grandchildren. Rosalie loves to decorate; she especially enjoys helping others with interior decorating. She is passionate about confirming the healings the Lord performs in people’s lives in particular women. She is actively involved in the prayer healing ministry and pursuing additional training. She joined VWC in October of that same year and has been a faithful Small group hostess and facilitator along with her husband for the last 3 years. In her professional career, she has served as an Administrative Assistant to a bank President, a Chief Financial Officer and the owner of a major advertising company. She also co-owned a special events production company in Puerto Rico. Served as a Marketing Manager in Syracuse, NY in the health industry where she was entrusted with supervising employees as well. After spending 41/2 years in Syracuse New York, she relocated to Atlanta in May 2002. In July of 2005, she joined Victory World Christian School where she is called to serve Irene Prue (School Principal), staff, parents and the children of VWCS.

I came to Atlanta via Brooklyn, New York but I am originally from Jamaica, W.I. I came to the US after high school and lived in Brooklyn from July of 1973 to December of 2003 when I moved to Atlanta, GA. While in New York I attended Christian Heritage Church where I taught Sunday school and worshipped for many years. I also worked as a computer operator while always longing to go back to college. At the age of forty I walked away from my job by faith and stared college. While there I decided to pursue a teaching degree. After completing college my church decided to start a school. And I was asked to work in the Pre-K department which I did. I worked with the two year olds, three year olds and the four year olds. This was a great experience and the Lord taught me a lot about my self and his children there. Then I moved to Atlanta where the Lord again opened the door for me to teach at the Suziki Child Care center. This was another great experience but it was not to be for long as the Lord would have me to attend Victory and learn of the school they were starting. Now I have found out that I have many passions. My first passion is the Lord and His work; next, my family which includes my mother, son, daughter and grandson. I also found out that I love water aerobics and walking.

My name is Doris Maliro and I'm happily married with two wonderful kids. I'm originally from Nigeria but I've mostly lived in Georgia,U.S.A. and in Moscow, Russia. I had a wonderful opportunity to school in Moscow and to experience their culture and speak their language. My first teaching experience was as an English conversational Teacher at The Japanese Embassy School in Moscow, Russia. I love teaching here at VWCS in that not only can I help my students excel academically; share my talents and cultural experiences, but most importantly to share with them the ways of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I was born and raised in Chicago, IL, and I recently felt the call from God to relocate to Georgia. I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior at a young age, and I strive daily to serve Him with all of my heart. I served in various ministries at Wheaton Christian Center, my home church, including the music ministry, audio department, and children’s ministry. I was very active in activities throughout high school and college. I played varsity basketball, softball, sang in Women’s Chorale, and was a mentor for underclassmen. I graduated from Wheaton College in 2004 with a BA in Communications. I discovered my passion for teaching while working as a nanny for family friends. As I began working with the young children, I experienced the joys of watching children learn. I pursued teaching through a home-based program, where I taught pre-school through 1st grade students. Due to the success that I experienced while teaching students in my home, I was invited to be a part of the teaching staff at Carol Stream Christian Academy, a private school that was housed at my home church. I taught Preschool for the 2006-2007, and 2007 -2008 school years, where I received numerous accolades and had excellent rapport with the administrations, co-workers, parents, and the children. I am excited to be a part of the VWCS family, and I look forward to the blessings that God has in store for each and every one of us!

I was born and raised in a small upstate NY town by the name of Groton, NY. When I say small, I mean small-3600 people total where everyone knew everyone else. After leaving home for college, my next forty plus years would center around cozy small town America life. Therefore, some of my favorite activities center on the great outdoors- walking in the fresh air, hiking whenever possible and sitting quietly by any body of water available. Nature is my passion and along with that reading Kingdom based books that inspire change! The call of teaching on my life was evident since my early elementary years when I lined up my dolls and distributed papers and pencils and taught by the hour in my bedroom. Those poor neighborhood children were constantly being herded onto my drive-way where I would plan and execute plays, productions and dance recitals. After a dramatic salvation experience alone with my Jesus in a hotel room, there was a long spell where my teaching was focused in Children’s Church and corporate America. One day when God, in His infinite wisdom and sense of humor, moved this country girl to Atlanta where I would learn about a dream School at VWC. It seemed like an impossible dream fro me at the age of 55 but the Lord turned it into reality. Here I am four years later, still leaning on Jesus and learning more than I could ever imagine from wonderful six & seven year olds, their parents and the Administration and staff of VWCS. In short, I am eternally grateful to my wonderful Lord-to be sure all things are possible with Him!

I was born in Toul, France. I had the good fortune of living in many cities in America because I am an ARMY brat. As a young girl I was an Olympic level figure skater. I hung up my skates after an injury at the age of fifteen. In 1988, I decided to relocate to Duluth, Georgia. I fell in love with the people and places in Georgia! I graduated from Brenau University with a B.A. degree in Early Childhood Education. (1998) I have been working in the public school system for the past ten years. I had a strong desire to share my love of God with my students and I am blessed that the Lord brought me to Victory World Christian School. I believe that teaching is a calling and a gift from God. Every child that enters my classroom is a blessing to know and love! I am a single mother of three beautiful children. Sarah will be a junior in High School, Stephanie will be in 7th grade and Sean will be in 4th grade. My free time is spent with my children and their activities. I am a parishioner of St. Monica’s Catholic Church where I have been teaching religious education for the past seven years. God worked a miracle in my life which I love to share so please ask me about my son’s blessing. I can’t wait to tell you about it!

I am the second grade teacher at VWCS. I grew up living and loving every part of Atlanta. Originally from China, my parents immigrated to the States when I was two. My family lived in Dekalb County for 12 years. In May 2005 I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and a minor in Music. Upon graduation my intentions were to pursue a Masters in Education; however, by God’s plan He led me to accept the teaching position at Victory World Christian School. I love the environment and the spirit that VWCS operates in; each person strives to walk and talk with God, even the four year olds! I currently live at a comfortable distance from school in Norcross with my wonderful husband, Steven Fan.

Tanya Rogers is a mother of 2 children, Joshua (age 4) and Kalini (age 2). She and her husband Erik spent several years in Israel leading a discipleship and ministry training program. In addition, Tanya spent two years in Jerusalem, Israel, working on her masters degree in Historical Geography and Archaeology of the Bible from Jerusalem University College. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 1995 with a degree in Anthropology. She has 6 years teaching experience at Oral Roberts University and worked as an assistant teacher at Action Montessori Academy’s Elementary Program (grades 1-6). More recently she has served as a tutor with Tower Educational Consulting Group and a scorer with Pearson Education. Tanya is looking forward to ministering to and sharing her life with the children and families of Victory World Christian School.

I am a GA certified teacher and have been teaching since 1954, with a few years out for my children and to care for a bed-ridden husband. I retired, after 30 years teaching, from the GA Public Schools in 1988. Since then I have substituted and taught in private Christian Schools. When I began teaching we used chalk and chalk boards and I often say I must have gotten chalk dust in my veins because when Fall comes I feel I must get back into the class room. I have four children and seven grandchildren, but through the years I have gained many other children and many memories. God is good!!!

Where are you from? I am originally for Lagos Nigeria. I was born in London, England. What are some of the things you enjoy doing? I love reading, connecting with people, playing basketball and playing tennis. I love cleaning dishes after dinner and doing laundry. What your experiences teaching or a short testimony of your love for Christ and your calling. I met the Lord in April, 1989 at my dad’s office. It certainly was the beginning of a continuing life adventure. God’s love for me has been my drive, inspirations and energy for all I do. I believe that life on earth is a test. The people we meet and the places we go are part of God’s plan for our lives to bring us in His purposes. I love my job and I will do it with passion and zeal anytime. I am married to my lovely friend and lover of many years. I have two girls.
