Irene Prue's mission in life is to inspire a desire to inquire about God’s Truth. She is the administrator/principal of Victory World Christian School. She was born in Plymouth, Massachusetts, but was raised a military kid living in Japan, Guam, Maryland, Vermont, North Carolina and Maine. She received degrees in the following areas: Ph.D. from the University of Georgia in Counseling & Student Affairs Administration; M.A. from Appalachian State University (Boone, NC) in Leadership and Higher Education, minor in Developmental Education; B.S. from Appalachian State University in Business Education, Secondary Education; A.S. from Champlain College (Burlington, VT) Executive Secretarial program.
For 15 years Irene served in a number of capacities at various universities and colleges. Some of the roles included:: Area Director, Coordinator of Leadership Activities & Orientation, Director of a Freshman Year Experience program, Assistant Director of Admissions, Director of Institutional Research and Strategic Planning and as a Dean of Students. She worked at a number of institutions: Appalachian State University (NC), Clarion University (PA), Georgia Southern University (GA), Ogeechee Technical College, the University of Georgia and Georgia Perimeter College. She has mentored young professionall women over the last several years and serves on the board of Turn Around Coaching, Inc., a non-profit organization committed to mentoring and coaching at-risk adolescents.
She was recognized as the Outstanding Student Affairs Professional at Georgia Southern University (1993) and was recognized by the Georgia College Student Personnel Association as the Outstanding Doctoral Graduate Student (1997).
